There’s a much more substantial update coming in the next few days, but here’s the lowdown on the last year in my life:
- Life Happened. Not long after I launched my Patreon, my mother died unexpectedly (not from COVID) and I moved from my first studio space to a new (much better!) building. This derailed that initial momentum and I spent most of 2021 getting it back.
- NEW STUDIO! In March 2021, I moved into Mad Oyster Studios in Somerville, a mere 8-minute walk from my house. The next post will have photos and details, but it’s a 400 sq foot space that I share with my friend Johanna of Silver & Indigo creations.
- Brand-new ETSY STORE! I did manage to make a fair bit over last year, and I’ve got the first items up on my Etsy store.
- SOS2022! Yes, I’ll be showing my work during Somerville Open Studios 2022! I don’t know what Mad Oyster will be doing as a building yet, but I’ll keep y’all posted.
